Originally from Yonkers, NY I moved to Hamilton in 1991. My parents were hard working, honest people who taught me that "if you follow your passion, there is no short cut to proficiency. Hard work pays off". I purchased Utica 22 St. Café in the fall of 2009 and fell in love with the building the moment I saw it due to its unusual architecture and rich history in the community. The former Hamilton Firehouse has remained a strong and kind reminder of how community places help bring people together and shape our lives. With such a vibrant and diverse community in Hamilton, I knew it would be the perfect choice.
